Story Behind The Song
I heard about a contest on the radio and decided to enter. I prayed that the power of God would flow through the song (with all the names of God and all in the chorus) At the studio, the guy kept turning off the buttons to record both the music and my singing together and I think I had to sing the song 9 times. The guy literally stumbled to the floor falling almost on his face. Was it the power of God?????

Lyrics
PROMISE OF LOVE FULFILLED
Words and Music by JOANNA
I was awakened in the middle of the night, by a voice that was puzzling to me.
I climbed out of my cozy bed, falling upon my knees.
An angel of the Lord stood before me, and told me I’d found favor with God.
He said I would conceive and bear a son, and his kingdom would have no end.
And he said:
Chorus
Call his name Jesus, Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Lion of the Tribe of Judah, King of Israel, Savior of the World, promise of love fulfilled.
I pulled my thoughts together, and calmed my shaken self.
Could it really have been an angel? And had I said yes to this guest?
I knew in my heart it all was true. This baby would be born.
But how would I explain it to Joseph, and how would I endure the scorn.
And you shall:
Chorus
Joseph stood amazed at Mary’s words. He said, “How can I believe this tale? I should divorce you quietly. Why does my life prevail?”
His restless sleep was disturbed that night. The Lord appeared to him in a dream.
He said, “My son don’t fear to make Mary your wife, what’s conceived in her is truly from me.”
And God said:
Chorus
Mary and Joseph were married. The Lord had it all arranged.
And his precious child was born to them in a manger on Christmas Day.
He grew to be our mighty messiah. He’s the Lord of everything.
As our hearts melt in deep surrender, let our voices rejoice in our King.
And we shall:
