Story Behind The Song

I began wondering why, after 10 years of being a Christian, I still did things that I did before I got saved (that I didn't like). I read an explanation in a Christian psychology book that said that the walk in the spirit is like a line straight up the center of a pyramid. We wander like a line side to side working our way up to the top. The sides we bump into are the flesh. The closer we get to the top the less often we bump into the flesh, but it's still the flesh. We may sin less often when we get nearer the top, but It may bother us more. God still wants us to walk as near to that center line as we can, but does not condemn us if we bump into the flesh, as long as we repent and get back to the path. And we will fail as long as we are in these fleshly bodies.

Song Description

Christians get depressed, too. Just look at the people in the Bible. Sometimes we expect too much from ourselves. We can learn to forgive ourselves and trust Him more so that we don't get so depressed.
