Story Behind The Song
the Sears Tower has officially been renamed to the Willis Tower but everyone in Chicago still calls it Sears. Somehow this opening line fell into place - if sugar were skyscrapers you're the Sears Tower
the track was just a bunch of messin' around - being a harp player I thought it would be fun to feature it in a way that wouldn't be expected.
Rose added some tasty background vocals to put the cherry on top. Good times!
Song Description
ja fun romp on the sweet side of life analogizing said sweetie in a self-effacing sort of way.
"If you were a mirror, it's the one that grants wishes
Like for love in my life and help with the dishes" - not the sort of lines in a real serious song.

Lyrics
If sugar were skyscrapers, you're the Sears Tower
You're my Hoover Dam, cause you're givin' me the power
When I plug into your socket, my batteries recharge
You're Mission Control for my trip to Mars
(if sugar......if sugar........if sugar.........if sugar) - background vocals
When dark misses light, you're the switch on my wall
You pack my lovin' chute before I ever fall
You're the sheets on my bed that I sleep between
You're the shower for my soul when I need to get clean
(if sugar......if sugar........if sugar.........if sugar)
You're the Riviera when I need a vacation
If I'm lost and nowhere you're my savin' destination
You're the cruise ship that carries me away
You're the notes I can't sing, but I try anyway
(if sugar......if sugar........if sugar.........if sugar)
If you were a mirror, it's the one that grants wishes
Like for love in my life and help with the dishes
When I go through customs you're my declaration
If my words had a point, you're the exclamation
(if sugar......if sugar........if sugar.........if sugar)
