Story Behind The Song
Out of the Whirlwind keys player Larry Blake brought this song of his to the band and we all immediately knew we needed to record it. It has that 12/8 gospel build that just draws you in. We were able to include the children from the Workstudy Performing Arts Choir who worked with us on a number of the songs for the Gospel Gumbo album. We also have feature guitarist Ricky Persaud, Jr. who soaring lead work raises to song to another level.
