Story Behind The Song
The producer of this song along with a few others was a CA Country music radio man who contacted a group of musicians called Hwy101 to play on the studio sessions. I had no idea who these musicians were but the investor who put up the $ wanted them on the cuts. I had little control of the session but I did with my later recordings. Had a falling out with producer who wanted me to do somethings I wouldn't and he wanted then his name withdrawn from recordings which was fine with me. So I took all 4 songs & radio charted them in Europe as well as smaller offline stations in the USA. Got a great deal of respect from the Industry for doing this the independent way by letting programmers & radio people with the audience decide if they liked it. Won awards for singer of the year etc. from these first 4 cuts. Personally I would have changed this production and you can tell by my work on my "Just Wait" CD. That "Just Wait" project was my production work in collaboration with a talented man named Marty Rifkin who I would work with anytime anywhere. He is extremely talented and I respect him highly.
