The Hawk and the Rat

[Verse 1] In fields where wheat is thrown to the wind, A shadow dance--sharp shin'd hawk's descent begins, Eyes set on prey below, nature's play unfolds, Each knows their role, life and death, so silently told.
[Chorus] High above, where only clouds can roam,
Nature's brush paints life and departure, In strokes so harsh yet feathery light, the cycle eternally turns.
[Verse 2] A speck, the rat, in life's vast script partakes, Its tiny heart with each rustle shakes. The hawk, in swift descent, merges with the land, Only one will rise from the dust from where they stand.
[Bridge] Written on winds, aged by time's own hand, Destinies entwined by threads old and grand. In twilight's deep fold, nature's chorus resounds, A silent hymn in the hunting grounds.
[Chorus] High above, where only clouds can roam, Nature's brush paints life and departure, In strokes so harsh yet feathery light, the cycle eternally turns.
[Outro] So it is, the tale, beneath watchful skies, A cycle of wings and quiet goodbyes. In the dance of the wild, fierce and mild, Lies the beauty of life, forever beguiled.
Forever,
Forever Wild.
