Story Behind The Song
i wrote a short story about the whole weekend and when we were remembering moments, the slipping stones came up time and time again. i felt like putting music to the words describing just how it felt that day. i almost threw my shoulder out ; )
Song Description
on the second day at the south toe river in western north carolina, satellite and i went up to one of her favorite spots and we built totems. i was falling in love with her. i started skipping stones and she flipped out! they were literally dancing on the water. the dogs started playing along as well. it was one of the most surreal moments i have ever felt.
