I draw my roots from a southern city, Asheville, nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. My music's roots, however, encompass more than southern culture. Influences from my parent's Benjamin Miracord turntable to his my brother blasting Black Sabbath throughout the night, act only as influences to my talent--my instinct. I don't spend hours sifting through musical riffs, hooks, and loops all to come up with something that fits the current commercial market. I write what I feel; influenced by my sense of being and where I aspire to be. From the George Winston influenced "Yellow" with its piano-laced melody, to the bombastic beat of "Let it Ride", they do not seem to fit any particular music genre. Yet, the songs have a voice of their own
