Life in the U.P. was tough... Nothing to do most of the year but snowmobiling and hunting. Well... There's other stuff too, but nothing worth mentioning "outside of a song." i dont envy those Upper peninsula people... Thats for sure. 4 years was more than enough for me.
BTW: eleven + 50 and still rejoice in the beauty of that grace. what a cherished offering you give us in that tender song. thank you.

hey bruce,i lost my facebook account when i got my e-mail hi-jacked awhile back,i never opened another one,but feel free to promote /christmas blues/if you wish,i never had any idea that so many would like that song-i did that in honor of a guy i used to go see play at his /special angel club/and drink a lot of beer with back in the 1980s in plainfield indiana-mr.bobby helms-jingle bell rock-fame-peace-joe.

Not sure Nils. I haven't missed one yet. I'm working on a CD project and a whole new batch of tunes that will take me to 2011, so I'm not sure how much of a distraction the six pack would be. It is one of the coolest contests around. I would hate to miss it! We shall see. Best of success to you!
