This is my funky/folky track of beautiful melodies, a catchy hook and a lyrical journey of a woman finding her strength and becoming empowered! This was greatly inspired by Lauryn Hill's unplugged album and my own journey being deeply in love with a man who was HIV positive...The "Love is Stronger than Fear" hook is also a fabulous sing along that audiences love to participate in!
Song Description
The song begins with a sweet finger-picking riff into a woman's voice--grateful and optimistic...then comes the hook--an affirmation that love is stronger than fear...then the song breaks down into a spoken word/singing rap about being shut down and not being able to break free...which leads to the realization that fear is an illusion of separateness.
Then facing a tough decision, she realizes her heart must lead the way and not her mind...
ultimately breaking down into more awareness and realization of her greatness...an empowering song about women, freedom, love and overcoming fear!!
