Story Behind The Song
Just a neat little idea I had. Tony Laviola hated the whole thing when I first ran it by him, however, when we showed tony quarrington, he really liked it. He made a fe suggestions and finally had an idea for a melody which I loved, and agreed to sing it. So here it is. I think it's the best track on the album!
Song Description
A trip down memory lane. Talking about a mythical trip to some places where the singer meets a bunch of music characters. Tip of the hat to places, people and songs.

Lyrics
Verse 1
Drove my Chevy to the Levy
we drank that sucker dry
Then We met Mustang Sally
And we all got quite high
Then we went on to the Crossroads
And we saw Stevie Ray
He was running from the Devil
Because he couldn't pay
Verse 2
We moseyed on to Graceland
Saw Elvis and James Brown
They waved and they suggested that we should party down
The joint was really hopping
Everyone was there
Ray Charles was singin' Ruby an' we all let down our hair
16 BAR INSTRUMENTAL Break
Verse 3
We walked on into Memphis
'Cause our car had broken down
Peggy Lee strolled over
in her fancy lowcut gown
Said "I've got a fever,
for some funky Beale St. Blues"
So we caught some Robert Johnson
and you know That's real good news.
