These are actual feelings I had toward someone who jerked me around in high school and who I could not ever really forget until I met my current husband who showed me what a relationship is supposed to be like. I found out that this ex wanted to see me when I went home for the holidays, and this was my way of telling him I don't hate him, and I forgive him, but I don't feel the need to see him anymore.

Girl was in love with boy as a teen, and he never returned her feelings. He waits until the night before she moves away to tell her how he feels and by then it's too late. She's telling him now that because he waited too long, she eventually got tired of waiting for him to come around. She moved on and found someone who was not interested in playing games, and who treats her right.
