Story Behind The Song
Andre Leclair came to me with the music already done, and asked me to write and sing the lyrics. I thought about the way the song sounds so freeing, and that I could picture playing in a convertible on the highway.
Song Description
Young couple who take off in their car, who decide to not worry about any responsibilities, and just see where their day takes them. They are completely open and spontaneous, didn't bother to think about packing a bag, didn't think about consequences, just left. They just want to feel the freedom of the road, feel the wind in their hair, and enjoy eachother's company with no distractions.

Lyrics
I can feel it in the early morning silence
the sun is waking up in the distance
you're right there by my side
and you're perfect in the early light
we'll leave everyone and everything behind
take nothing but a t-shirt and a map
let's lose ourselves and don't ever turn back
put the top down baby
conversation comes so easily
when it's 6am and we've got nowhere to be
whoa, there's a whole wide world ahead
oh, let's follow the rivers and
let the wind be our guide, no matter where we drive
we will be alright
let your hand surf and glide in the wind
I'm happier than I have ever been
ain't no worries in my head
there ain't no words that can take away
the vastness of the open road I'm on
chorus
kiss me soft in the sunset
brush that stray hair away from my eyes
there'll never be another chance like this
chorus
