Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song back in 2014 when reading this Psalm during my quiet time with the Lord. The lyrics popped into my head as I read the scriptures. It became a favorite praise song at the church we were pastoring for several years. My love for and friendship with the bluegrass band, Trinity River, prompted me to ask them to help produce this song. That's Joshua Harris on banjo, his sister Brianna on fiddle. The family also contributed vocals. I hope you enjoy singing along with us!

Lyrics
CHORUS: Let your heart live forever, you saints of the Lord
Let your heart live forever, forevermore!
Let your heart live forever, O dance and sing!
Let your heart live forever , you children of the King!
To all of my brethren, I'll sing your name
In the midst of the people, I will proclaim
O when I was afflicted, He heard my plea
My God hasn't hidden His face from me!
To the one who cannot keep his soul alive
You will eat! You will be satisfied!
O come to His table, and pull up a chair
Our Redeemer is righteous, so let us all declare:
We sing for the ones who have yet to arrive
To the rich and the poor of every tribe
O come to His family; there's room for more
Let your heart live forever in the kingdom of the Lord
