Story Behind The Song

This Steve Winwood song originally recorded by Blind Faith was one that I performed back in the day when I played acoustic solo gigs or, sometimes, as part of an acoustic duo or trio. Something about this song was hypnotizing and, later, when I decided to record some of my favorite cover tunes, this was the first one I tackled with the help of my patient producer, Bill Bentley. He managed to arrange and perform a musical track that enabled me to keep the cool "stoner" groove that drew me to the song in the first place. Excuse me, Steve, for adjusting the lyrics a tad.......
