It was almost a surprise when the lyrics turned out to be in English. This song is, in instruments,, voice and recording, a German song, a very good German song. Pleasant, tuneful, a bit sentimental and nostalgic, sung with a clear, melodious voice - you can hear every word.
Having grown up in Denmark - right next to Germany - this kind of song is very familiar. and it its fun to hear it in this jolly, sweet rendition.
I like the lead vocals, sounds a lot like Ms. Kate - I really like the fiddle as well. I think this would be a great children's song.
